Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are these clear treat bags suitable for cookies and bakery packaging?

Yes. These clear PP bags are suitable for cookies, candy, dry pastries and other baked goods that fit comfortably inside. The transparent film keeps your products visible for bakery displays, party favours and gift packaging. Allow baked goods to cool before packing.

Q: What are the dimensions of these 8 × 10-inch self-sealing bags?

The bag body measures approximately 8 × 10 inches (20.3 × 25.5cm). The total height, including the adhesive flap, is approximately 11.8 inches (30cm). Allow extra space for the thickness of your product and for folding the flap closed.

Q: How does the self-adhesive closure work?

Place your product inside, peel off the protective liner to expose the adhesive, then fold the flap over and press it against the bag. No heat sealer, ribbon or twist tie is required. Keep the sealing area clean and dry for better adhesion.

Q: Are these cellophane bags or polypropylene bags?

These bags are made from polypropylene (PP), not cellulose-based cellophane. Although clear treat bags are often described as “cello bags” or “cellophane bags,” the specified material for this product is PP. Do not assume they are compostable or biodegradable.

Q: Are these self-sealing cookie bags airtight or suitable for vacuum sealing?

Airtight, leak-proof and vacuum-sealing performance is not specified. The adhesive flap provides a convenient closure for presentation and everyday handling, but it is not a substitute for a validated barrier seal. Do not rely on these bags to contain liquids or guarantee an extended food shelf life.

Q: Can these clear bags be used for party favours and holiday treats?

Yes. Their plain, transparent design works well for Christmas cookies, Halloween candy, wedding favours and other seasonal gifts. Add your own label or decorative sticker to match the occasion without hiding the contents.
